Around 6pm there is a little ceremony .On Nov.11th the French president is used to coming here also .The Arc de Triomphe was commissioned by Napoleon I St .It was begun in 1806 but actually NI will never see it completed !When He was sent into exile after his defeat at Waterloo in 1815 the arc was half built ! It took 20 years to finish the Arc ! It was inaugurated under the reign of the king Louis-Philippe.
